AGP20 features a selection of works by three Asian composers: Yasukazu Amemiya from Japan, Nguyen Thien Dao from Vietnam, and Kil-sung Oak from Korea. The two works by Yasukazu Amemiya feature an especially vivid and detailed recording on the Japanese RCA label. Amemiya is primarily a percussionist, but his compositions exhibit a very nice sense of the sound potential of the instruments at his disposal.
