AGP21 features a collection of performances by the great French ensemble Les Percussions de Strasbourg. The six tracks are drawn from three LPs on the acclaimed Philips Prospective 21st Century series--two from the late 1960s and one from the early 1970s. The composers hail from six different countries, and all have names beginning with the letter "S"! Other performances by Les Percussions de Strasbourg from the same Philips series have been reissued on a CD called "East Meets West"--check it out at your local retailer. The included text file contains notes from the three LPs from which these works were transcribed. Most of these notes are in French, and so are an unedited output of my OCR program.
